Professional Experience
As the Chief Executive Officer of Arundel Group Holdings, LLC., which includes Arundel Design Build Contractors, LLC., Darkhorse Utilities, Sitework and Concrete Contractors, LLC. and Ellis and Levine Engineering, LLC., James is responsible for the daily operations of the company and its affiliates including Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Estimating and the Company’s finances. With 37 years of progressive construction and engineering experience starting at DFW Airport expansions in 1983, James has been involved in over 3000 projects including private developments, multi-family, government, industrial and transportation. The first twenty years of James’ experience was spent managing geotechnical, civil, structural and environmental firms. The clients have included developers, cities, states, and federal governments, USCOE, DOE, US Army and multiple other private and government clients with a specialty in national chains.
As the managing member of Ellis and Levine engineering, LLC. (ELE) Texas License F-16478, James manages the pre-construction design for Arundel Design Builders. Previous design-build projects have included restaurants, shopping centers, bars, and sports facilities. This includes estimating, budgeting, bidding, subcontractor and supplier management. James is committed to the customer’s satisfaction and is involved in all daily activities.

Previous projects include multiple Home Depot’s, Chick Fil A’s, Chuck E Cheese, Wendy’s, Sonic, Chilis, IHOP, Waffle House, McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell, Food Lion and multiple other national chain clients, multiple high rises, tilt warehouses, airports and state highways.
